ghd was the favourite hair beauty partner at New York Fashion Week in October, chosen by no less than three great designers for their Spring/Summer '06 collections. ghd's legendary styling irons and hair beauty range stole the show, with hair creations at Zac Posen, Alice Temperley and WILLOW by ghd style director James Brown, working with The ghd Directive.

Continuing their long-lasting partnership with FrostFrench, ghd also styled hair at their celeb-packed London show.

News / AUSTRALIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL

Thanks to sponsorship from ghd, the Next Top Model TV show format, already televised in the UK and America, has been successfully exported to Australia. Australia's Next Top Model - the reality TV show that transforms unknown girls with raw talent into potential supermodels - will go on air from January next year.

The show, whose format was originally created by American supermodel Tyra Banks in 2003, will follow the ten finalists through weeks of modelling assignments and tasks. Viewers will also see the models 'at home' during the two months they spend sharing an exclusive Sydney penthouse.

Throughout the series, The ghd Directive, led by top stylist Jayne Wild, will help transform the girls into confident, striking models ready for their debut on the catwalk. The contestants will also get a chance to work with creative stylists in a live professional environment. And The ghd Directive will provide inspirational tips for creating enviable hairstyles for viewers at home.

Having used T3 irons, what can I say but, they are by far the best on the market. Here, I am going to give you a few tips on how to get the best out of these irons.

T3 straighteners

Make sure hair is fully dried
Section hair at the nape of your neck
Start by combing from the nape of the neck to the ends (always have a comb handy to follow down with the irons)
Keep the comb next to the irons as you straighten (this will give you a better finish)
When ironing never pull down the hair, take your time and you will get a better result
Depending on your hair type take at least 1" thickness of hair at a time and do this all over your head
Your hair should now look glossy, silky and static free

T3 'Wet to Dry' straighteners

Wet and Dry, what can I say? A must have one of the best and most fantastic irons on the market.

Easy to use but I'll tell you about that in a minute.but wait till I tell you what they do. they dry your hair as well as straightening it. WOW!

They give your hair a smooth finish a most beautiful shine.

How to use

You take a section of your hair, about 2 inches wide, you hold the irons near to your scalp leaving ½" from root.

Then you slide down to end repeating 3 times on same section AND WATCH THE RESULT. AMAZING!!!

You'll never look back on this product, enjoy it while you can, don't be the last to buy it coz you'll regret it.

T3 Rounded Plates Styler

T3 Rounded plates are another amazing iron. What fun you can have with this!

Sick of being straight and want a quick new look for day or night? Well then, this is the product you are looking for.

Make sure hair is dry (just blast the hair-it does not have to be dead straight)
Depending on the curl you want to achieve, take a section of the hair and wrap around the iron starting from the ends of the hair
Hold for at least 10 seconds
L oosen the iron and pull away from the head slowly to achieve your curl
Spray with a light spray to hold
